The term ‘reiki’ is derived from the Japanese words ‘rei’, meaning ‘Universal’ and ‘ki’, meaning ‘Life Energy’. Reiki is a form of alternative therapy commonly referred to as energy healing, that complements both conventional and holistic care approaches. (Other translations for “Rei” include: Divinely Guided, Spiritual Wisdom, Sacred, Divine, Holy, Blessing, Miraculous, and Wondrous Power. And additional translations for “Ki” include: Life force energy, Breath, Air, Spirit, Atmosphere, Vital Energy and Primordial Energy.)

 

Reiki uses mindfulness techniques to help bring the body, mind and spirit back to harmony and balance. During a session, the practitioner transmits Universal Life Energy to the client. The intention is to create deep relaxation, to help speed healing, reduce pain, and decrease other symptoms you may be experiencing. Reiki can be performed in-person or sent “long-distance” (remotely), anywhere in the world, as a form of prayer. It can also be sent and programmed to arrive at a time in the future. It can be administered to adults, children, animals and most anything. When a session takes place in-person, Reiki can be administered with the client lying down or seated in a chair.

Reiki energy cannot cause harm and it has protection against negative energies. There is a limitless source of universal energy. It should also be noted that Reiki does not deplete the energy of the person channeling Reiki.

45 minutes - 1 Hour Session: $65.00

Remote sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, or wherever you are during the session. We just agree on a day and time, you relax, and I do the rest from my location.

*Sessions are always complimentary to Frontline Workers, Animal Shelters, Hospital Patients and Nursing Home Residents. Please specify so when requesting an appointment.
